my process:
research the danish and european safety laws regarding pacifier chains, ans source the EU certified materials that comply with the above requirements, while still being aesthetic and made out of recyclable and sustainable materials (certified FSC wood and aluminium).
source the cuttest ribbons at the loveliest haberdashery store in Barcelona, filled to the brim with teeny tiny boxes full of treasures. Collected, stored, and carefully organized by Mireia for years on end, creating my favourite maze to get lost in.
design – prototype – test – get feedback – make changes – prototype again, make pattern, test the materials, sew and assemble it all together, label, package, set free to roam for new adventures.
